This program (CMSP) was developed for people who have a primary or secondary diagnosis of chronic pain. Pain is defined as being chronic or long term when it lasts for longer than 3 to 6 months, or beyond the normal healing time of an injury. We discuss dealing with frustration, fatigue, isolation, and poor sleep, appropriate exercise, appropriate use of medications and much more.
Millions of people with chronic disease struggle to manage their symptoms. At Community Choice, we are proud to reach out to our leaders and participants every year through this program (CDMSE). Our Spanish and our English-speaking leaders make the difference in hundreds of people's health and lives within the Chelan-Douglas and Okanogan counties.
Through our Diabetes Self-management program we offer techniques to deal with the symptoms of diabetes, fatigue, pain, hyper/hypoglycemia, stress, and all of the emotional problems associated with this disease. Our material has been reviewed by physicians, diabetes educators, dietitians, and other health professionals.
