Community Choice Spanish Radio Outreach & Education
The key areas of information & education include:
- Healthcare information to increase access, inform consumers, and reduce costs.
- Education topics that improve awareness, lifestyles and quality of life.
Information on relevant legislative issues that increase informed civic involvement.
- Emergency preparedness topics and news to increase safety and preparedness.
- Other information that is advisable to benefit the quality of life of listeners.
We are currently running radio segments and establishing agreements with the following Spanish radio stations in the state.
Radio Frequency Station Name: Coverage Area: KZHR-95.5 FM Mi Favorita Quincy/Moses Lake/Wenatchee & vicinities KDNA-91.9 FM Radio Cadena Granger/Sunnyside/Yakima and vicinities KOZI – 1230 AM KOZI Radio (Weekends) Chelan and Vicinity KWWX-106.7 FM La Super Z Station Wenatchee and NCW extended vicinities KWNC-1370 AM La Super Z Station Quincy, Ephrata, Moses Lake and vicinities KOMW-689 AM Omak Station (Sundays) Omak and vicinities KSRV 91.7 FM Skagit Valley College Skagit Valley and extended vicinities CURRENT PROGRAMMING: Programming runs (as funding allows) morning, noon hour and evening, Monday through Friday. With some stations also running our programming over the weekend. Most audio segments are under 5 minutes in length. Longer segments can also be arranged with our affiliate radio stations.
